The following fun activities are offered free of charge for seniors 60 and older at Heartland Family Service Senior Center: movies, speakers, trips, discussion groups, classes, Tai Chi, and monthly parties. A delicious hot lunch is served daily at noon, and is $3.50 for seniors age 60 and above. Those under 60 are also welcome to join, but will spend $9.25 for lunch. A reservation is required one day in advance, and local transportation is available.

Glad Tidings Church

Telephone – (402) 391-6515

For seniors looking for religious activities, Glad Tidings Church welcomes people age 50 and above to their Senior Group. Members are invited to attend field trips, special events, cruises, monthly church meetings, weekly Bible studies, and holiday celebrations. Elderly can also play a vital role at wedding receptions, funeral meals, and classes, and are able to conduct chapel services and Bible studies at local rest homes, hospitals, and retirement villas.
